The unit came and the electric start did not work. Nothing in control panel worked. Called Briggs and Stratton. The technical help guy started reading the same owners manual as me. It was obvious he was opening manual for first time. I could hear him flipping through it trying to figure out what to do. He was no help and finally told me to find local authorized dealer. I never called them at that time because I figured out how to start manually. Silly but you have to unscrew cover to adjust choke manually every time you start.A week later I called B&S. Once again they told me to call local rep. This time I called local rep. He told me I would have to pay him $92 up front to even look at generator. Then pay to repair because it is hard to get reimbursed from B&S. He would refund after he got money from B&S. He literally said my best bet is to return it to Amazon.I called Amazon to try to return. They said I have to contact B&S. I told them I had twice but they did not believe me. When I insisted to amazon that I had called them they told me I had to provide a transcript of conversation for them to review. I said that was a stupid request because nobody takes transcript of phone conversations. The amazon guy would not transfer me to another agent and just said he could not help me. To bad.The generator still does not start. Both Amazon and Briggs and Stratton are worthless and have ripped me off.

Its January and still going strong love this thing ….EDIT :It’s February 3 and electricity was back yesterday finally and the Inverter made it and still in good shape ! I’m cleaning it and saving it for future need. Highly recomend !!!
